Hey guys,

I brewed a porter two and a half weeks ago and I was about to start kegging. I have a original gravity of 1.05 but today when I went to keg it it only got down to 1.025. It was been pretty cold in new york and since it was in a basement it was heated to about 62 degrees.

What do you guys think I should do. Should I let it ferment even more with maybe a light on it to keep it warmer?

I would warm it up a tad, shake it to rouse the yeasties and let it sit another week or two. It may just be too cold for it to have completely fermented out. Just my $.02.

Let it go longer, let it warm up - SKIP the visible light however, it will skunk your hops. Move it to an upstairs room/closet.
