Here's the backstory: I'm 36 years old. I've got two small kids. When I was a kid, I used to watch "The Banana Splits". That show doesn't really hold a warm place in my heart. I kind of forgot all about it.

Fast forward to this morning... I turn on the tube for my kids and turn on the Boomerang Channel. Guess what's on? The Banana Splits. It's filled with random cartoons and funky, trippy, psychedelic songs. Hanna-Barberra at their best/worst. A couple of adults running around in animal suits acting in wacky escapades/laugh tracks/music from the late 60s and early 70s. It's like a train wreck.

Anyone else remember this show?

Michael

The Banana Splits were great.
Not as weird as the Sid & Marty Kroft stuff.

Yeah, I used to watch all that crazy stuff. I am still a huge fan of the original Johnny Quest.
