Keg Spear Stuck

Hey,

I am trying to dissassemble a sanke keg. it doesn't have a spring clip, you simply have to unscrew the spear with a key...

I managed to unscrew the key, but I can't remove the spear...I can only lift it out ~half an inch...I tried turning it slowly to see if things would line up, to no avail...

Any idea as to what I have to do to remove the spear?

if it's a heineken it's almost the same as a miller, just a little different position on the button:

I was told by my brewer friend I need a cuppler to remove this without damaging the keg...my buddy's going to come over and help me. I'll take pics to show yall what Im talking about incase somebody else has the same issue.
