Anyone brew their own organic pesticides.

I have a pretty good brew of basil, pepper, garlic and vinegar but curious if I'm lacking some good ingredients. Between that brew and Diatomaceous earth it gets most but the ants seem to be getting through still.
 
I grow tobacco, which I use for cigars. I take all the bad leaves and stems and boil them with some water and it is some mean stuff. I remember years and years ago my father used to get a truckload of tobacco stems for the yard and there were no bugs at all!!!
