Mashing grains right now. Beersmith told me to stoke with 166 degree water to hit a 152, which was right on. It's telling me to sparge with 186 degrees, which seems a bit high to me. Any input?

13 pounds of grain, striked with 4 gallons. Want to batch sparge twice with 2.25 gallons each rinse

That first sparge is going to take it up to about ~162 and the second sparge to ~172. Sounds about right to me. Maybe a little high.

Ok, I'll go with it... Thanks for the input. Collecting first rubbings now. Cheers!!
