While at my mothers house a few weeks ago I came across a Christmas gift from years back, a bottle of Young's Christmas Pudding Ale and pint glass. The date on the bottle is May 25, 2005. It has been in her basement the whole time which never gets above 65 degrees. If I drink it do you think I'll be ok?

right before Christmas, my homebrew club gave away some SN Celebration Ales, oldest was an '06
I tried one and spit it out.
when I mentioned it at the next meeting, several members said, "tasted great to me!"
maybe I'm just shiny and new and ignorant and not used to 'real' beer.

I doubt that it aged well, but it will not hurt you. Give it a shot and tell us how it goes.
