Any one have a suggestion on how to put a corona style beer together using a store bought extract or putting an extract kit together.

Here you go.

However I would just suggest peeing in some bottles, adding sugar and yeast and then skunking it under some fluorescent lighting.

On an unrelated note they sell an unskunked version of Corona too. I tried it recently out of morbid curiosity... definitely better than Corona Extra... but still not very good.

Get the Muntons or Coopers Mexican Cerveza kit, 3 lbs. Extra Light DME and upgrade the yeast to WhiteLabs Mexican Lager yeast and you will make a much better version of Corona.

The Coopers Mexican Cerveza kit will make a comparable Corona clone with 1kg dextrose to 23L and kit yeast.

If you want to really impress the Corona drinkers take 2oz vodka + 2 or 3 lime zests(no juice) to make a homemade extract. Let it steep for a few days covered with plastic wrap then strain out the zest and add the green liquid only when bottling. Have had comments like "best beer ever" with the lime extract addition. Evan people who do not like beer will enjoy this version as it has a strong lime flavor early which dissipates with age.
