I only posted about it because on some other thread a guy claimed to know the hops and percentage breakdown used for the blend, but could not provide backup, so I was looking for it anyway.

Cheers.

OK. Our account with the vendor is set up. Just need to get the details on shipping to my place.

Another question for the group: What should be the cut off date?

Any word on availability of the more popular varieties Bill? Farmhouse Brewing Supply are going to be putting up some Amarillo today, and it will probably sell out quick, but I'd obviously much rather get it here at these prices if I can!

I say cut it off by Sunday so you can order Monday morning. I would love to have these soon so I can brew sooner.

I still need to get shipping costs and include them in the total cost.

I guess I better build the stand for my other 15 gal inductor conical, so I can brew more often....Going to have a lot of hops to play with.....

Well..times a wasting.. and then as the hobby goes you need more kegs.

I have 12 kegs, so I am good there... And I have all the parts to build the stand, just need to spend the 2 hours cutting the wood and screwing it all together.

Glad to see a few of my favorites seemingly available. I signed up. Will see if any in our club want to get in on this (although I will have them come to this thread instead of trying to coordinate this one)...

There goes a couple of my choices. I was thinking about Zythos so I guess I will get some after all.

Should we take off the hops that are not available? Or will that happen by magic?

Bummer! Guess I had to expect that after hopsdirect Citra etc. sold out in 20 min.

I can update the database tonight, I will leave the variety that need 44 pounds

How close are we on the Simcoe?

It wasn't clear in the original post, but it appears Simcoe is 44# only.

did I mention that hop contracts are available to us? That is another option for us; however, that will need to be a separate thread or offline. Who ever is interested in contracts PM me and I'll start putting together a spreadsheet.

I bet we could make a good run at it. At these prices it would be a shame not to. Guess we'll see.

is this easier to read?

I just updated my order to reflect the out of stock hops. Bummer that so many are gone, but I'm excited to try Zythos and maybe get some simcoe!

I hear ya. Did you add a Zythos split? I am not seeing one...

ATTENTION

For those that are not in the Chicago, Wisconsin, Indiana and Iowa areas please do not request to be added to the database. This buy is regional only. I will not be shipping anything anywhere. Everything is local pickup. Not trying to be a jerk but just trying to keep these buys manageable. Thanks for your understanding.

Remember everyone, these buys are for our own use. I see people wanting 44 pound boxes for themselves. No home brewer uses that much hops in a year. I suspect that people want to turn around and sell them. All I can say is be prudent with your ordering of both spot and contract purchases and don't potentially f*** it up for the rest of us in the future. If the group wants to impose a limit per person I would be quite all right with that. But I will let the group decide.

I recommend a per person limit, but considering that there are like 5 hops available, it may not be possible to fill the minimums unless people order more than they can use.

Also, I don't think people know how to properly use the website, so they may not want 44 lbs to themselves.
