I have a beer I want to dry hop in a corny keg. My question is when I rack the beer into the keg with the dry hops can I put it straight into the refrigerator, or do I need to wait a week or so at room temperature?

Warmer will extract the flavor and aroma components quicker, but otoh it could be more interesting to go ahead and start the cool down, get it on tap, and taste the evolution as you go along...

Cheers!

I've done both, and it seems like it takes quite a bit longer to extract the flavors out of the dryhops. At room temperature, I've dryhopped as little as 3 days, but with adding the dryhops to the keg, the hops stay in the keg the whole time. It sure seems like the hops flavor is best right before the keg is empty!
