The 2009 is great. So far I've had a bottle at home and on tap once. Both were excellent 
I need to grab a few more bottle for the cellar though.

Haven't tied any of these yet. Are they meant to be cellar'd and aged like the Vertical Epics?

Had some the other night, I honestly didn't care for it. It seemed too sweet to me. I like the regular Bastard much better.
I had this in Alaska in June with two of my Army buddies and I was the only one who didn't like it. It was too sweet and had a very hot alcohol taste. Maybe with some cellar time it would be easier on my palate but definitely not fresh.
