Did I pooch my aerator?

So I got my aerator this week, and am using it now at 1:30am in the primary, and it seems to be doing nothing.

So for anyone who's been following my eclectic posts throughout the evening, it's now 12:15am and I'm near finished boiling the wort.

I got my fish-tank aerator thingy this last week, and it said...

Can you post the recipe you're going to brew?

Steeping doesn't do anything diastaticly; it's only for flavor, body, etc.

I see no harm in steeping, but I think seeing the recipe may prove...
