I'm new here, but couldn't you achieve the same type of alcohol content increase through the use of Candi Sugar? I have made some at home and got a higher ABV and it didn't seem to effect the beer...

Oxy-Clean as a sanitizer

I read somewhere that Oxy-Clean works wonders on labels, can it get the gummy residue off of Heineken bottles? Also, can it be used as a sanitizer? Seems like you would have to rinse really well...
