Thanks- to follow up.. I kegged it with 2.5 ounce...

Thanks- to follow up.. I kegged it with 2.5 ounce sugar, purged twice at 30 psi and then hit it again. Now would it be wise to hit it with gas every few days or just leave it?

Would you reuse this yeast?

Used 3787 Trappist to make a Belgian Double (this is 4th gen); made starter but after over 2 weeks this beer is still chugging away. Took a reading OG 1085, FG 1030 so I know that's not low enough....

priming sugar

Going to bottle my pumpkin ale and when I go to check priming sugar calculator they want to know the style. What would this come under. And the desired volume of co2 listed is 2.5. My OG was 1064....

I had another thread on this issue a few weeks back. Same prob, sounds like same taste. As I have 2 kegs on same tank and other is fine I know its not co2. Only thing I can figure is I'm not rinsing...

no- not metallic. Going to try rinsing longer. May even try forgoing starsan in keg and just remove beer line and sanitize it.

Always use oxi-clean and rinse a few times through the lines, and sanitize with starsan. CO2 a few mths old. Maybe I'm not rinsing out the oxi enough??

Still say it wasn't infected. As someone else stated yeast and co2. As for the smell all you where smelling was co2 escaping. What a waste.....

My triple is 2 weeks in. O.G was 1.072; my reading today was 1.002 which brings it to 9% alcohol I believe. That yeast went for 2 weeks straight; just starting to slow down.
