I hear ya. I bought 1/2" SS fender washers at Home Depot and had a guy at my company's machine shop bore them for 5/8. You should be able to find them online at Fastenal. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I came to the same conclusion and used 8 tabs for 750ml bottles. It's an English Brown Ale and should probably have low carbonation but I like my bubbles:)

Beersmith does have a calculator for hop age. You punch in the hop type, age, alpha acids, and it tells you the new alpha acid %. Hope that helps.

I've gotten up to 85% on my corona mill and batch sparging. After making some adjustments, I am averaging 75% eff almost every time. Nice BTW!
