I think i will clear coat it. I dont want to mess it up and have to put new carpet down. Kind of ruins the point of taking it up in the first place.

I ended up adding 6 lbs of liquid barley extract...

I ended up adding 6 lbs of liquid barley extract to make a 10 gallon batch. And added some roasted barley, midnight wheat and cara special 3. I dont think its a porter anymore. :-)

I've found out whatever doesnt leak is the way to go. I have tried both ways on different kegs. Each one had different spouts and drill holes. If it doesnt leak you are good.

You would need to get a temp controller for the fridge. Good chance that is more expensive than you would want to spend. Around $75. If you keep it around 68 it should be ok.
