At any rate...you right, a trip to Lowes to get a 5 gal paint strainer bag would be something...

Well that was a cluster****, who know how this will turn out.

We have all had a "stalled" sparge, not really stuck...just stalled..at worst blow into the hose and off she goes.

I saved a case of them, put one in the fridge last night.
Drinking it now. Oh yeah, the age has done it well. It is really good now.
I will make this again and cellar it for 4-5 months.

1 oz. Centenial

I am trying to put something together for an IPA
I was thinking Citra for the full 60 Centennial at 20, Cascade at 5 and dry...

Amazing beer, the first IPA I have had or heard of that put candy sugar in the brew. Freaking awesome...and at 11% ABV..it kept getting better

So maybe 8 lbs. 2 row, with 2 lbs. Munich?

Initial results of my 1st Belgian Tripel

1 month primary, today is 15th day after bottling.
Put one on the fridge yesterday morning, first tasting.
It is very good. Taste pretty much like a Belgian triple should. No off flavors...

Yeah it is an NB recipe, I am reading it.
As I am sure 100% of folks here will tell you - you can/should skip the secondary.
I love NB - but there brew instructions leave a LOT to be desired.
