Hops for a oatmeal stout

What are some medium to high alpha hops that wouold deliver a dose of bitter without too much aroma? Usually i use english hops in these, but the AA's are low, let me know what yo guys think..

Yea I put water in at 170 and let it drop to 163 before the grains go in. I'll look into silicon.

Ive never encountered it in the darker extract brews. only the lighter ones, for what its worth.
