I too recommend pitching at or below you're target fermentation temp. During the yeast reproduction phase, I honestly think bad things happen if the temperature rises.

USDA Prime full packer at Costco recently was I think $3.69 or $3.99 a pound... Sure, that's a full packer which will be cheaper per pound than a flat, but I think for Prime that's pretty damn good.
