fwiw I use a french press most days...I use a blade grinder as well. I put a small piece of cheese cloth in the opening of the french press, it filters out everything but the delicious coffee.

I was there last year with my homebrew club I liked it...but we got to see all the of the brewery and talked beer with the brewers. I did like the Pale Ale too!

I think you may be looking at this wrong, just add some hot water to your tun I use about a gallon and let the cooler warm up. Empty the cooler and add your strike water around 12-14 degrees over...

Hmmm that seems right...the only thing I could find on gelatin clumping is this- To avoid clumping, dry unflavored gelatin should be mixed with a little cold water first for 3 to 5 minutes to moisten...
