I had this problem once and it was because the motor was binding due to my shelf being slightly higher than my plumbing. Made the adjustment and haven't had a problem since.

Here's a few pics of the door assembly. I used self tapping screws to bolt the top and bottom doors together and then used a brace on the back corner to sturdy the unit.

I took dfees1's advice and bolted the doors...

I took dfees1's advice and bolted the doors together and removed the divider. Now I can remove the fermenter in between batches and use the fermenterator as a refrigerator to cold crash up to 5 kegs!

I clean in place with Oxyclean. Fill it to the top and let it sit for a couple of days and then dump it. Before I add wort for the next batch, I sanitize it with starsan.

Just sanitize it and run it through the bung hole and seal it with the stopper for your bubbler. I do the same thing with my temp controller to allow my fermenterator to cool to the temp of the wort.
