Very low efficency

Fast fermentation

Hello, several day ago i brewed a gumball head clone. The OG was 1.052, 48 hrs later the reading was 1.007. I never had a beer ferment that fast, i used us-05, is this normal?

Stone IPA from mitch steel book

Hello, im planning on brewing. Stone's IPA, from Mitch Steel's book IPA, it calls for a upward infusion mash with a 30 min rest al 150f and then a mash out.
Is that enough for a full conversion?...

Can someone please explain upward infusion mash?

Is it a protein rest at 122f for 30 min.
Then a sach rest at 154f for 30 min
And mash out 170f for 10 min.

When to add dextrose for a DIPA

Im brewing a DIPA, the recipe calls for 6% of the malt bill for dextrose. but I dont know at what tiome of the boil to add it. please help
