I ordered my first keg setup from them last year. Last night I was able to jump on the 'B' grade keg special and bought a couple more ball lock kegs for cheap.

Brewed a 5 gallon batch last night. Currently its fermenting nicely away in the carboy. I decided to not use a hop bag and instead dumped the fruit and fruit tea right into the fermenter.

I am pretty sure this is normal. Because the freezer has been sitting so long, the compressor needs to charge the unit. The sound you hear is the coolant being circulated.
