I've had this happen too with harvested Bells yeast. I pitched it even though it had a phenol-y smell and my batch never came around. I chalked it up to an infection somewhere while I was harvesting....

Yes. When Great Lakes told me about using 3 hop additions of Hallertau and Cascade I decided to change up my hop additions to what I posted above.

And IMHO I feel like it tuned out great. :mug:
