I used 1 oz. McCormick orange extract in a wheat beer dry hopped with 1 oz. cascade hops. it was rediculously overpowering. just my personal experience.

Has anyone attempted tissue propagation for hop rhyzomes? the kit costs $250 and comes with all the necessary equiptment I've got 30 plants and would like to expand rapidly... from what I understand...

Yeh, If I went through the trouble of cross pollenating some new hops strain, and then got it patented, I wouldnt want some dude jumping my fence and stealing from my hop yard.

I know that misting your hops with a manure "tea" can cut down on pests such as jap beatles. i may just run a drip system with a T in the line and a ball valve to turn on the mister's as needed.

how about winter wheat varieties? or any specialty grains that may grow cooler climates? in south carolina i might get 2 weeks of freezing weather but for the most part, we have mild winters.

yeh, we've already got permits to pump out from the river to fill our duck pond, so they should appyly to a piece of 1" pvc. this is a big river with no trout. but I am all about being legit, thanks.
