finaly got lager beer right

I love pale lager and they say its the hardest to brew right. ive always had a flaw an aftertaste in my partial extract bottled beers, kind of a cappy, cardboardy taste I would try aging for 6 months...

I never understood why more people dont use agar slants, it takes so much less space in the fridge! All you do is boil geletin with some water and DME. Get some pyrex test tubes from a hobby shop....

Yes, I did drink the beer the same night I bought it and it had a 10 mile car ride, though I dont think it agaited it that much. Ill give bully stout another chance and let it settle for a few days...

I brew partial mash due to space and heating constraints, my brew method is as follows; I usually use pilnser malt as a base malt then throw in some other grains. My ratio is around 7lb grains 4 lbs...
