haven't used those but I use the grommets for regular buckets.. you can get 2G and 5G buckets and lids real cheap at home depot and just drill a hole and pop a grommet in and voila.. a new fermenter....

All sound reasoning. I would probably go Dogfishhead myself for the variety, quality, and availability. They do not make my very favorite beer but they do make a lot of beers that I love.

Pretty sure farmers buy more than a couple oz or lbs of seed at a time. For a small grower it's a serious specialty item I think. That always equals a high price.
