Bottling using an MLT

Has anyone ever used their MLT as a bottling bucket? This seems like it would be a good way to filter out any unwanted debris in the beer.

That makes sense. I filled a tub up with water and put a cup or so of Iodophor in there. Which is where I let my fermenting bucket sit.
