I haven't tried making the DFH60 with Palisades but I wouldn't recommend it. The 60 was much better 3-4 years ago when they were still using Amarillo. Still good now, just seems like a "lighter"...

Nope, I'd bet the recipe is entered into the calculator at 5.5 or 6 gallons to account for trub or transferring loss. Most people do this so your end product is 5 gallons.

I think we are going to start with a 35 gallon...

I think we are going to start with a 35 gallon boil to test it. We have 12 hops plants ready to harvest at months end and will do a fresh hop IPA to test it out. I'll be sure to get some pics up.
