I normally make it to founders once or twice a year. But it is hard to choose brewery to hit up in Michigan. I head to MBC alot but thats because it is in lansing.

Here in Lansing, Mi Michigan brewing company has a large collection of mixes you can order at the brew pubs. Some great combo's when you give them a chance.

no on the juice bottles unless you plan on keeping them as a still cider. carbonation would make the tops most likely pop off

I would not classify beer made with non-organic hops as organic. Not that I care about it not being organic.

So far for the hardest for me to remove have been Short's and North Peak. All others have been rather simple and a soak in water gets the labels off with little work.

I just started cleaning bottles and so far just soaking them in plain water in a cooler gets the label to come off. Then a sponge with a scrubber on it for pots gets the glue residue right off.

Stubby Bottles

What company's are producing beer in stubby bottles. All I have found in a true stubby has been Red Stripe and beer from North Peak Brewery in Traverse City, mi. Does anyone else make a beer in one?

I picked up a 6 pack and some 22oz of this about a month ago. The taste was off in the six pack compared to the 22oz maybe it was the age of the beer. Gave away most of the six to people to justify...
