I think my biggest problem was temperature...

I think my biggest problem was temperature control. I lost way too much heat. I'll probably go back to my keggle once I figure out a temperature controller. But until then I'll simply with a cooler....

Interesting, is bacteria/ infection not a concern? I would think you'd want to sterilize anything being added to the wort. Is there a benefit to adding it as late as secondary vs. After/ end of boil.
