Okay so I have this stout that's been sitting in the keg for a while and I brought it out for a party this weekend. I didn't think I had carbed it at all yet so I hit it with 25psi overnight...

Yeah I have it set at 30psi. I'll have to check the beer temp but it should be mid- to upper-30s in there. And I do it just like you are suggesting with the clean unchilled glasses and the Guinness...

The carbonation level should be what you expect...

The carbonation level should be what you expect it to be for the thawed temperature. There's nowhere else for the CO2 to go but into the solution and the headspace.

Lost half my new beer gas tank to a faulty disconnect :(

So I *finally* got around to hooking up my beer gas system for my first stout on nitrogen. Hooked everything up yesterday and things seemed tight and snug. Should have probably turned the gas off...

I like the Guinness Draught bottles. Like the beer and the label is not glued on and easy to remove. The little widget comes out easily with needle-nose pliers too.
