By bottled cider, I meant pre-fermentation, off the shelf, jugs of cider. If it has any kind of preservative in it, there's a really good chance it won't ferment. Sorry I didn't make that real clear....

After fermentation was complete, I cold crashed...

After fermentation was complete, I cold crashed for 24 hours, then used potassium sorbate to stop new fermentation, then backsweeten after that. Good luck!

Yeah you are right. I didn't do the conversions before answering and just assumed that the wheat and the 2-row were the only ones converted and you still had to steep the Vienna. No steeping grains...

I did a 5 day secondary using 48 oz of frozen raspberries, and it has a lot of raspberry flavor.

My neighbors liked it so much, that I'm brewing another batch for them this weekend.
