If there's krausen, it's fermenting. Let it go a week to 10 days from the time you pitched and take a gravity reading. I'd bet it's done in that time frame.

You're going to need a tank larger than the standard 20 lb propane tank to utilize the btus from that burner. Iirc, the maximum btu from a 20 pounder is 96k btu. That's with a full tank at 70F
