Haha, good replies all. I don't think it was placebo. I think it was very real. Next time I make it I'll let it sit for a week before we drink it to see if that changes anything...

Thanks for the tips! I used both dish soap and oxyclean free. Used only oxyclean free and really hot water on the last batch.

I'll have to seriously consider moving to PBW.

Alright, i got over my fears and I simply racked it to the keg. I was amazed, it was very clear! Some yeast did get in there, but I'm sure it will fall out as it chills over the next couple of weeks....
