I'm gonna bottle tonight. Nige used 1oz of PB extract for 3 gallons, so I'm going with 2oz for my 5 gallons, since I assume he had some peanut flavor before adding the extract, and I have none.

I don't think so. I don't think it's the boiling action that kills the nastys, but the temps. I'm pretty sure I have to boil a little longer to achieve sterilization.
