Not making fun, I actually thought about it to try and fit 2 carboys at once, but was worried about the weight of it "hanging" on the edge of the fridge or door.

Did you control fermentation temps? From my limited experience with them, they are pretty sensitive to what esters they give off at different temps.

To piggy back on Yoopers response, if you want to age that long I'd go for cubes over the chips, especially if you're like me and know you won't be doing as frequent taste tests as you should.

You can just leave that one on yeast for a while - I keep my big beers in there for at least 4 weeks before bulk aging.
