Splitting up the brew day

Has anyone did their mash one day and then did the boil the next day. This is an all grain batch FYI. What are the pros and cons. Thanks!

Calculated efficiency

Had a quick question. When you are trying to figure out your efficiency, do you use your pre-boil gravity reading or the reading after the boil is complete? Thanks for the responses!

Type of Kegs

So I know the norm of kegging is corny kegs. My question is can you use "commercial" 5 gallon kegs? What are the pros and cons? Thanks for the input! Cheers!

Hot Smell

Don't know if this has been covered but I couldn't find it. I usually alway take one peak during fermentation. I brewed a brown ale all grain BIAB. The smell coming from the fermenter burned my nose....
