Hmmm, I pitched one pack of Wyeast 3068. Was a little worried about it stalling, especially since it was shipped from MN to FL in the middle of summer and got here warm. But it fermented fully. ...

I waited to add the second half of the DME in the last 15 minutes. Color still came out darker than I'd like. I guess that's common with extract brewing, especially partial volume. But other than...

I use Better Bottles to ferment and judging by that picture, I'd say you're right around 5 gallons there, maybe a tad under. When you're done with the bottle and have it cleaned out, fill it with...

I brewed this recipe as initially outlined (without the Irish moss). Pitched one pack of Wyeast 3068. Fermented most of the time around 68, but did drop it down to 65-66 for a few days...

Tonight was an Old Rasputin and a Stone IPA. Tomorrow I'll break into a Duvel 4-pack. And Sunday I'll be cracking a bomber of my homebrewed Oktoberfest to kick off the start of another season of...

Actually, I just tried my Oktoberfest that was lagered for over 12 weeks. Straight out of the fridge, most of the flavor was dominated by hop bitterness and little else. I was a tad disappointed...

I brewed an Oktoberfest with an OG of 1.060 a few months ago. Pitched 2 packs of Saflager 34/70 and fermented 9 days at 52-54 F, then 2 day D-Rest at 68-70. Was at FG in about 11 days. I'd pitch...

Oktoberfest Diacetyl Rest

I brewed an Oktoberfest 9 days ago, OG = 1.060, estimated FG between 1.015-1.017 depending on the calculator used. Will post complete recipe, if needed.
