About a month ago they had a different SN expired...

About a month ago they had a different SN expired beer from Aug 2013 on sale for $6 a 12 pack. Maybe are going so well they figure to hold out on this awhile. LOL

More Expired Beer

Local market had Sierra Nevada BeerCamp 12 packs for $12.99. Expired in July of last year....Wow Just had one of the Imperial Red Ales at 8.5%...Woo Hoo, my head feels it and it's still a good ale....

I brew small batches in 2 gallon paint buckets from HD. I try to get about 1.9 gallons into the bucket to give me approx. 1.75 gal in the bottling bucket which fills 3 six packs.

Yea if you are doing an extract kit you pretty much can't miss the FG as it's all coming from the extract. Now U could add to much water at the end and dilute it but that's unlikely if you measure...

Go to HD and buy a couple of 2 gal paint buckets and lids and then brew for that. I go for 1.8-.9 into the bucket and get 3 six packs.

No need to add extra yeast after cold crashing. I do it all the time and bottle cold. Three weeks later and it's ready to go.

What ABV were U expecting?

What was the og & fg??

I saw those 2 gallon fermenters from Demon Brew months ago. Wrote to them to get size and never heard from them so I stayed w/my 2 gallon paint buckets from HD. :-)
