Fermenting/Bulk Aging Wine in a Corny Keg?

I was thinking of splitting a six gallon kit between two kegs. Assuming I pay proper attention to purging and do closed system transfers, does anybody know of a reason not to use a corny throughout...

Another perk to this design - it's expandable. So far the coils are about 8" in height from the bottom of the kettle, I have room for another set under 5 gallons worth...

At $50/bottle, I'd pack it with dead baby seals to prevent breakage. I could understand if FedEx ran it over, but anything less should be protected from by the sender. Inexcusable. Period.
