I quit bottling this summer because I was tired...

I quit bottling this summer because I was tired of having 372 bottles lying around. It's also nice when I drink beer from a bottle, I can throw it in the garbage.

Bigger beer, probably less yeast in the bottles than the amber. It'll carb, just give it time.

Also worrying about whether a 9% beer is fully carbed after 2 weeks is a little silly don't you think?

There's no way you could have learned how to brew beer and not read somewhere along the line that it takes at least 2 weeks for the bottles to be ready, usually longer.
