Alright folks, here is my question. I brewed on Sunday. I have had no fermentation (I suspected a problem with the yeast but used it anyway). Took a gravity reading on Tuesday and again today....

@ samc- how quickly does the primary take off for you when you do this? As you can see I usually don't do it this way but it is reassuring to know that others do without issues.

I was just using my washed yeast. No starter. I used to regularly make starters with my reused yeast but haven't been doing it all the time lately. This is the first time I've had an issue with it....

I put the bottles in a large plastic container so as to minimize any mess if I do indeed end up with exploding bottles... We'll see what happens
