Just built mine, and used 16GA throughout. According to the label on my chest freezer, it only draws 5 amps, so I figure 16GA ought to cover it. Haven't actually tested it with a full load yet...

Hey Yoop, how much would the 16 oz of bourbon alter the FG? I'm guessing I should have taken a reading on the porter BEFORE adding the bourbon, but I neglected to do so.
