2 weeks might have been a bit early for bottling. I have found that 3 to 4 weeks across the board made for better beers and more predictable carbonisation

S types are hard to clean, I never use them...

S types are hard to clean, I never use them except for tame ferments for just that reason. 3 piece airlocks are way easier to clean, drill out a few of the holes to 1/4" to keep them from stopping up...

I have only done secondairy a couple times and seen no real decernable difference useing the same recipe. Maybe a clearer beer but thats about it. Leave in the primary 30 to 60 days and bottle it....
