Also, pointing a fan at the top of your wort will help A LOT. I boiled 13 gal in my keggle (15 gal) the other day with no prob. (No foam control)

Well, I got the sampler. The Maibock and the Polygomy Pale Ale were decent. As mentioned above, low abv and very low on malt flavor and character. $4 a pint for watered down beer.

I just kegged one using 50/50 root beer mix/ birch beer mix. Awesome. A touch on the sweet side.

I also mixed it in the keg and taste tested it before force carbing.

Gottcha. I'm a big fan of adding honey to my ciders.

I recently did an apfelwien with 4lb honey and 1.5lb of corn sugar. Used 2 packets of Notty yeast. Tasted great when I bottled it on Sunday....
