Praxair swapped out an out of date Coca-Cola tank for me. They never even glanced at it. Cost me about $20.00. Give it a try. Worst thing they could say is no.;)

Swapped an out of date coca cola 20#'er at the local Praxair It was just a hair over $20.00. They didn't even glance at the tank!!:D

Got it swapped for 20.00. It was also overdue for inspection:D . Took it to Praxair. No problems. He didn't even look at the tank. Of course I did get there about 15 minutes before closing time!!
