Shake Wort after Pitching?

I've read to shake the wort after transferring to the carboy to aerate the wort. Should this be done before or after pitching the yeast?

Thanks for the help!

So, would I bottle directly from the glass Carboy?

Would I just get some clear tubing to go from the Coopers Fermentor spigot to the Carboy, or would siphoning work better?

Thanks!
