Yea I love the method. I am doing 2.5 gallon batches becuase I don't have a 6+ gallon kettle to do a full 5 gallon batch boil.

However, I have done a full 5 gallon batch boil on my stovetop...

I use em all the time. Never had problems. I never chked about bubbles though. The only thing I hate about them is the labels don't come off as easily as other brands :)

By the way, I use Beersmith to scale my recipes down. But you can probably get pretty close by halving everything for a 5 gallon batch to get down to a 2.5 gallon recipe. Going from 5 gallons to 1...

Personally I love a Manny's. It's a great hoppy pale ale. Not very high bitterness, but all the lovely aroma and flavor of a nice hop. Don't like DFH 90 at all due to the extreme biterness.

I also overshot my OG on the first Deathbrewer's AG Method I did. I just topped it off with fresh water until I hit my OG. When I looked back, I figured out I didnt' use enough sparge water though....
