A valid point. I've already decided to experiment with using some bottled spring water for my next batch. Any brand suggestions? Thus far, the research I've done puts Deer Park a the top of my list.

Is excessive sediment a problem for fermentation?

I'm wondering if anyone has some insight as to whether or not excessive sediment would impede fermentation? On both occasions, my brother-in-law inadvertently sucked EVERYTHING out of the kettle...
