Yeasties are dead, hops are less than prime, but I would make it with everything else. Had just fine results before with brick DME and ancient LME.

Independence Day Smoke-A-Thon

Getting ready to fire up the smoker. Figure I start at midnight, the brisket should be good to go by dinnertime tomorrow. Plan on throwing on a couple of racks of ribs on at about noon, too....

Yea, you have less yeast in a beer that has been in a secondary (how long?) but just be patient, it'll carb up. If it was in the secondary more than 6 months don't expect any carbonation for a month...

I have bottled 50+ batches- just about to finally start kegging. Sometimes bottling induces a relaxing, zen-like state. Usually it just induces a pain in my a$%.
